Parlimentarians from Punjab assembly are likely to join Istehkam e Pakistan political party, newly established by Jahangir Tareen. Punjab parlimentarians are gathered by Malik Ghazanfar Abbas Cheema, who contacted Jahangir Tareen.
Jahangir Tareen launched the Istehkam e Pakistan party on June 8, after main Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf leaders left the party amid political conflicts. Nearly 20 former lawmakers also joined Cheema group to get in IPP.

PTI leaders who joined IPP
Several Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf leaders including Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Amir Kiani, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, Mahmood Molvi, Firdous Ashiq Awan, Ali Zaidi, Fayyaz ul Hasan Chohan, Fawad Chohdary and Nauman Langhrial joined Istehkam e Pakistan.
While announcing about the formation of new political party Jahangir Tareen said, “We all have one purpose which is to work for the development of Pakistan”. He added that they worked hard in PTI for reforms in Pakistan but they did not work on their menifest to and people got disappointed from PTI.

He also told that, more people are expected to join IPP in coming days and the party will try its best to meet the expectations of the people of Pakistan.
