PSL 10: 22 Foreign Players Sign Up for Player Draft in Gwadar

The second round of the PSL season 10 player draft is planned to be arranged in Gwadar Balochistan on 11 January 2025. The PCB said that 22 foreign players registered themselves for the draft, among which are New Zealand’s Martin Guptill and Tim Southee. This is a major achievement as the PSL goes on to capture more talent from across the world showing its prowess in the global cricket arena.

The draft pick order released earlier by the PCB is as follows: Lahore Qalandars will pick first in the platinum category, and Karachi Kings will pick second. Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, and Islamabad United will make their choices in order, preparing the ground for a fantastic tournament.

Overseas Stars Boost PSL 10

Some of the notable signings for the players drafted have been Rassie van der Dussen, Alex Hales, and Jason Roy, to name but a few among the veteran players. They have released the draft containing players from cricket-playing nations such as England, Australia, South Africa, West Indies, etc.

That PCB has chosen to hold the draft of the Pakistan Super League in Gwadar is a clear sign that the organization wants to further the game across the country. Opener Usman Khawaja, Shakib Al Hasan, and Mustafizur Rahman are also currently showcasing their skills which makes PSL 10 interesting.
