The 24th and current prime minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, will head towards an official visit to the United Arab Emirates on May 23, 2024. PM Shehbaz Sharif, during his visit to the UAE, will organise a meeting with the current leadership of Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in the UAE.
According to the sources, the leader of the UAE, Shehbaz Sharif, will also conduct meetings with investors in the UAE and the Pakistani community living in the country.
Relationship between Pakistan and the UAE
Both Pakistan and the UAE have cordial relationships with each other. Around 1.7 million Pakistanis live in the UAE and have played a very crucial role in the country’s development and growth over the last five decades. The Pakistani people who are living in the UAE have contributed to the infrastructure, economic growth, and overall development of the country. Shehbaz Sharif’s Previous Visit to the UAE
Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif last paid his visit to the UAE to pay his condolences to the president of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, regarding the demise of his brother, Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al-Nayan.
During his last visit, Shehbaz Sharif was accompanied by the Federal Finance Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Tariq Fatemi, the special assistant of the Prime Minister, and Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE.
Shehbaz Sharif conveyed deep condolences and sympathies from the Pakistani government and people to the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, for the demise of his brother.
