Pakistani singer Ali Zafar, in a bid to celebrate with the masses, took to the streets following Pakistan’s historic win against India in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
In the shared video, the rockstar can be seen enjoying the electric crowd as they chanted, danced joyously and blared their car horns.’
The star, taking to Instagram, shared a slice of the celebrations.

He captioned the post: “Pakistanis enjoying their victory on the road. So heartwarming to see the smiles and the evident joy on their faces.”
It merits a mention that Pakistan chased their 152-run target successfully with 13 balls and 10 wickets to spare. The country registered their first-ever win against India – the arch-rivals – in World Cup events.
Pakistan has never won a World Cup game against India, a win even acknowledged by Prime Minister Imran Khan, who tweeted: “Bravo to the Pakistani squad, especially to captain Babar Azam who led from the front.” PM Khan also lauded the brilliant performances of Shaheen Afridi and Rizwan and said that the country is proud of them all.
