A Proud Moment for Pakistan. Pakistan’s women’s cricket team just made history by winning all three T20 matches against South Africa. They played the last game in Karachi and won by six runs, making it a clean sweep after winning the first two matches on September 1.
This is a big thing for Pakistan because it’s the first time they’ve won a T20 series against South Africa, who are a really good team and were in the T20 Women’s World Cup final recently. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said it’s a super important achievement, and the team did really well.
it’s a huge celebration for Pakistan’s women’s cricket team. They played amazingly against a tough opponent and everyone is cheering for them.
During the decisive third match, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat, ultimately setting a target of 150 runs for South Africa. In response, the Proteas posted 144 runs, falling short by six runs.
South African captain Laura Wolvaardt and Tazmin Brits provided a solid start, accumulating 31 runs, but Nashra Sandhu’s impactful bowling led to key dismissals. Despite Wolvaardt’s impressive 72-run effort, Sadia Iqbal’s dismissal halted South Africa’s pursuit of victory. In the match, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Bisma Maroof, and Sidra Ameen from Pakistan played really well and scored important runs.

This series win is not only a historic achievement but also the first series victory for Pakistan women’s cricket since their success against Sri Lanka in 2023.
