Pakistan President Zardari Embarks on Five-Day China Visit

From Tuesday the President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari will embark on a five-day state journey to China as the Chinese President Xi Jinping extended an invitation. The leaders want to deepen their strategic partnership by discussing how they can cooperate both economically and for security while developing the CPEC project.

President Zardari will conduct important talks with both Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang. The two countries will discuss security issues particularly protecting Chinese employees while also working toward bilateral cooperation on security and counter-terrorism efforts. 

The government built a 12,000 member force as its main mission is to protect all Chinese staff working on CPEC projects. During his trip Zardari will witness the start of the 9th Asian Winter Games to display the many ways Pakistan works with China.

As Pakistan needs to revive its economic growth CPEC offers a vital opportunity for this cooperation between Pakistan and China.
