Pak-China Tourism cooperation

A meeting was held in Chinese Embassy Pakistan in which Ms Pang Chunxi, charge de affairs, Chinese Embassy and Aun Chohdary, advisor to Prime minister on sports and tourism participated. Both the officials discussed bilateral cooperation on tourism between Pakistan and China.

The main crux of meeting is to conclude new ways for improving tourism facilities for tourists of both sides. The year 2023 is declared as China Pakistan tourism exchange year, as both the countries decided to share tourism ideas with each other.

Aun Chohdary conveyed best regards to Ms Pang on her Excellency in field. He said that China Pakistan relationship is already very strong and we need to work together in future for bilateral strong ties. He further added that two brotherly countries need to increase cooperation in tourism sector so that more tourists will move in between China and Pakistan.

Opening of Khunjrab Pass

It would be helpful in improving people to people contact between both nations. He further added that we need to make registration process easy for people travelling from both countries. We are also planning to setup guided tours group between China and Pakistan so that tourists can visit the country easily with full guidance.

He also put attention towards opening Khunjrab pass for tourists’ traffic as it will allow people to visit easily.

Chinese ambassador Ms Pang Chunxui also appreciated the efforts of Pakistan in promoting tourism. She added that China is happy to announce year 2023 as tourism exchange year in Pakistan and China. She said that it is good to have strong people to people contact for our nation.

A lot of Chinese people are living in Pakistan and same as Pakistani people are living in China, we are all ready to provide all type of support and assistance for bilateral tourism relationship between China and Pakistan.

Tourism is the most important factor in strengthening the economy of any country. Pakistan is full of natural beauty, rich cultural values and beautiful places, we just need to improve our facilities in tourism sector so that more tourists from around the world can come to Pakistan.
