Naila Kiani became the first woman to climb all Worldwide 8000 metre peaks. The last peak she climbed is Pakistan’s fifth 8000 metre peak and 12th highest peak in the world.
The Alpine Club of Pakistan Secretary Karrar Haidri said, “Naila has successfully ascended Pakistan’s fifth and final 8000 metre peak at 2:03 am on Thursday”. She is the first woman to climb all 8000 metre peaks in the world.

The peaks Naila Kiani climbed include Mount Everest, K2, Lhotse, Annapurna, Gasherbrum 1 and 2, and Nanga Parbat. She was also given the third-highest civilian award, Sitara-e-Imtiaz.
She was awarded with Sitara-e-Imtiaz in recognition of her achievement of successfully summiting the World’s highest peak, Mount Everest. The President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi congratulated Naila Kiani for outstanding achievement.
Sajid Sadpara’s Achievement
Another Pakistani mountain climber Sajid Sadpara summited broad peak without the help of any supplementary oxygen and Sherpas. Sadpara has also climbed all five 8000 metre peaks in Pakistan without oxygen.
He also climbed Nanga Parbat without the help of supplementary oxygen in June, 2023. He also summited K2, Gasherbrum 1 and 2, in Pakistan as well as in Nepal without supplemental oxygen.
