NADRA has new Biker Service Karachi; also known as the NADRA Biker Service Karachi for CNIC renewal services provision. The NADRA Biker Service Karachi program was launched by Karachi region Director General Ehtasham Shahid inaugurating the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) initiative for enhancing public service delivery through the NADRA Biker Service.
With the service offered from Mondays through Fridays from 8 in the morning to 5 in the evening, the NADRA biker service in Karachi gives the Pakistani residents ability to renew CNIC from the comfort of their homes. Though the fresh CNIC registrations involve physical visits to the NADRA offices, the renewal services have gone high with the help of NADRA’s helpline number. While applying this service, the clients are required to pay Rs. 1,000 in addition to general renewal fees and the documents are then taken to applicants’ homes and offices.
After successfully trying them in Punjab, NADRA has extended this creative solution to Sindh, where it has started using three motorcycles in Karachi first. The biker service in Karachi is a part of NADRA, the organization is all set to take this service to other major cities such as Hyderabad and Mirpur Khas indicating the organization’s concern for making its services more easily available and convenient to the public of Pakistan.
