Former Pakistani fast bowler Muhammad Amir informed public about his bowling participation in upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2024.
Former Pakistani World Cup Winning bowler Muhammad Amir is all set to play for Indian Premier League in 2024. The statement of Muhammad Amir playing in IPL came after three years of his retirement from international cricket.

Pakistani players are usually restricted to play for IPL due to political conflicts between the countries. The only Indian league in which Pakistani players participated was back in 2008 when it started.
British Citizenship and IPL
Muhammad Amir got retired from Pakistani Cricket back in 2020 and has been living in UK for almost three years with his family. He is set to get permanent British citizenship in 2024 and he will be no longer a citizen of Pakistan that would help him in participating in IPL 2024.

While talking to media, Muhammad Amir said, the chances of him playing with England team are far more than less but he is keeping his doors open for IPL.
He added, “First, I will not play for England, I have played for Pakistan. Second there is one more year to go for IPL. There is always a scenario when situation comes and its better to decide at that time but I am thinking about playing for IPL”.
