The Constitution of Pakistan is witnessing its 50th Anniversary, in this regard the National Assembly of Pakistan is going to celebrate the golden Jubilee under the leadership of Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf.
It is celebrated in Pakistan every year for Constitution of Pakistan 1973, a document that laid the foundation of democrative and progressive country Pakistan. The series of events will be celebrated including Social Justice and Equality, Federal Parliamentary Democracy as enlisted in the Constitution 1973.

Activities by Parliamentary Advisory Committee
These activities are chalked out by Parliamentary Advisory Committee, consiting of members from both upper and lower houses of Parliament and chaired by Senator Mian Raza Rabbani.
The foundation of celebrations will be inaugurated by Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf by laying the stone monument opposite Parliamentary Lodges, D-Chowk Islamabad.
This stone monument will serve as the reminder of constitution importance in the History of Pakistani Nation. The Wreath-laying ceremony will also be held in the Memorial of Unsung heroes of Democracy of Pakistan. The heroes who fought for democracy and constitution.
An exhibition for showcasing picture of Constitution framers, commemorative stamp will also be inaugurated by Speaker National Assembly. He will also inspect the original manuscripts of Constitution of Pakistan.
The Golden Jubilee Celebrations will held in National Constitution Convention in the Main Assembly Hall, it will be attended by all Parliamentarians and important personalities of all fields of life.
This year Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Pakistan Constitution will mark as an important event in history, following the ideals and principles of country’s democrative and progressive identity.

The activities of 50th anniversary of Pakistan Constitution will continue for one month including speeches, quiz competitions, exhibitions, issuance of commemorative coin and stamp and an International Constitution convention on May 10, 2023.
