Pakistan –
Former assistant to Chief Minister Punjab Firdous Ashiq Awan had to face a rough scenario when people of her constituency started sloganeering against her – in front of her.
She was addressing a public gathering in Rasoolpur.
People of her constituency complained about various governance issues that they were facing in the PTI’s era.
Voters expressed severe concerns about various things that she said during her speech.
Awan tried to convince the people initially, but when things got out of control, she also lost her temper.
“If you guys had made the same efforts during the 2018 elections as you are making now, I would have ended up in the assembly,” Awan responded.
“I will continue to work for my constituency; no one else will do so.”
She said those who lost in the elections were called non-elected people despite whatever they did.
In response, people said they had voted for her.
Awan claimed there was some conspiracy against her.

It merits a mention that Rasoolpur is Awan’s constituency. She, from here, lost her National Assembly seat on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) ticket to Chaudhry Armaghan Subhani of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Firdous Ashiq Awan humiliated AC Sialkot Sonia Sadaf in a visit to Sialkot’s Ramadan Bazaar. She, in June, made headlines when she slapped PPP’s Qadir Khan Mandokhel in a live TV show on Express News. Famous journalist Javed Chaudhry was the moderator.
