Pakistan Railways Announces Five Eid Trains for 2025
To allow people to celebrate Eid with their families, Pakistan Railways is to operate five Eidul Fitr special trains June 2-4. The trains will travel to various cities within the country to reduce holiday traveling.
The first train will depart from Karachi Cantt for Lahore on June 2 at 1:00 PM. The second train, from Quetta to Peshawar Cantt will depart on June 3rd at 10:00 am. The third train will travel from Lahore to Karachi Cantt on June 3rd, departing at 5:00 PM. Later the fourth train will travel from Karachi City to Rawalpindi, and leave at 8:00 PM. The final train will leave Karachi Cantt for Lahore, departing June 4th at 8:00 PM.
Some trains will operate with coaches railway officials have arranged to use from workshop, while others will be utilizing pre arranged rake.
Meanwhile, Eidul Adha is predicted to be on Saturday, June 7, 2025. Muslims celebrate Eidul Adha when performing Qurbani or sacrifice, that typifies the spirit of sharing, faith, and compassion. Both Eids encapsulate family, they contribute to happiness to homes and communities, and bringing a sense of togetherness across the country.
