Earthquake felt in Islamabad

An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 felt in Federal Capital Islamabad and its surrounding areas today morning. According to Seismological Center the earthquake was so severe that people came out of their houses reciting “Kalma e Tayyaba” out of fear.

The center of this earthquake was border area of Tajikistan and depth on rector scale was 60 kilometers. The earthquake was also felt in Abbottabad and Malakand areas. No loss or life or injury has been reported yet in Pakistan due to earthquake.

Earthquakes in Turkey and Syria

There were many reports predicting earthquake in Pakistan and its sorrounding areas after the earthquake in Turkey and Syria which was the worst recorded natural disaster from history killing more than 45000 people and millions are injured.

Thousands of houses and buildings became rubble and people are left without shelter and food. Scientists were predicting that earthquake is expected in Pakistan and other countries as well.

All the world aid organizations and governments sent humanitarian aid for Turkish and Syrian people including medical and rescue teams, basic necessities and food items. Turkish government also removed the ticket fee and plane expenses for people visiting the earthquake affected areas.

Pakistan journalist and social worker Iqrar Ul Hassan posted a picture of Turkish airline ticket with 0 fee appreciating the warmth and helping nature of Turkish government. Prime Minister of Pakistan Shahbaz Shareef also visited the affected areas of Earthquake in Turkey to make sure that all the aid is delivered properly and rescue teams of Pakistan are working professionally to help the victims.
