Cristiano Ronaldo, GOAT in the football community took his love for watches a step further as he is buying a stake in Chrono24 GmbH, the largest dedicated online marketplace for luxury watches.
This investment will benefit Ronaldo in another way, giving him a totally different exposure to the second-hand market for luxury watches.

Ronaldo shared his thoughts as, “As a long-term watch collector and regular user of Chrono24, it’s a pleasure for me to become a shareholder in the company now”.
He added, “Chrono24 unites millions of watch lovers from all around the world to share in their passion together, that global unification is something I know well and am thrilled to be a part of”.

Ronaldo’s love for luxury and expensive watches is no longer a secret, his diverse collection includes Rolex to Jacob & Co, Girard-Perregaux and Franck Muller worth millions.
The Co-Cheif Executive Officer of Chrono24 said that, Ronaldo’s investment was significant. He gave us money, not us giving money to him.

He also added that prices of some Rolex models were stabilising, while others were still falling apart.
