7 Pakistani Cybersecurity Startups at GISEC 2025

Seven exciting Pakistani cybersecurity startups have won the opportunity to represent the country at the GISEC Global 2025, one of the largest cybersecurity events globally, taking place in Dubai. Ignite, an innovation and technology fund supported by the Ministry of IT and Telecom in Pakistan, funded and supported the startups.

The companies selected were part of the Ignite Cybersecurity Hackathon 2024, a national hackathon to spot and nurture local cybersecurity talent. The top 7 teams set the stage through a difficult competition held nationally, allowing the finalists to pitch their solutions on a global stage.

Finalists included BlockAPT, Confiz, CYDEF, DigitalControlRoom, Hack Hive, Trillium Information Security Systems, and Cyber Secure Pakistan. Each of them has found a unique approach to cybersecurity with solutions including threat detection, secure communications, data protection, and cloud security.
