In a recent Press Conference held at Bilawal Bhutto House Karachi, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Sanaullah Khan Zehri launched a scathing attack on the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), highlighting what he termed as a ‘contradiction’ in the stance of PML-N’s supremo Nawaz Sharif.
Zehri Specifically Pointed out Nawaz Sharif’s Previous stance where he had expressed reluctance to welcome the founders of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) into the PML-N. “What can I say to Nawaz Sharif, as now this is the contradiction?” remarked Zehri during the press conference.
Having left the PML-N based on his principles, Zehri shared that the N-league had prevented him from attending gatherings of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). As discussions turned towards upcoming elections, Zehri confidently declared, “The PPP will win the elections in Balochistan,” withholding further details on the party’s strategy until consultation with the party chairman.

Expressing optimism Zehri anticipated the formation of a Coalition Government in Balochistan and Highlighted the Significant development in his Constituency.

It’s noteworthy that Sanaullah Zehri, former Balochistan chief minister, and retired Lt Gen Abdul Qadir Baloch had both resigned from the PML-N after the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) public meeting in October 2020. They joined the PPP in 2021, citing differences within the PML-N leadership. This move came after Zehri was excluded from the PDM Public meeting by the PML-N leadership, leading to his eventual Departure from the Party.
