Apple is planning to announce next major version of Apple’s operating system, iOS 17 as part of WWDC presentation. The official date of release is not announced yet, but the company usually sticks to a familiar pattern of the calender.
The rumors about Apple Reality Pro Headset are also circulating, but right now users are waiting for Apple to unveil the new software features for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac for the coming year.

Apple also shared some details about iOS 17 feature including a new simplified alternate app launcher layout and Live speech feature using users own personal voice.
Features like Amazon Echo Show
Users are expecting to see a smart display in new feature like the Amazon Echo Show, a new journalling app, new wallet app and location sharing feature, additional Dynamic Island functionality for iPhone 14 pro.
Apple is currently focusing on XR Headset, and it won’t have anything as huge as iOS 16 lock screen redesign or iOS 14 home screen widgets update.
Although the details of official release date is not out yet but speculations are about first few weeks of July. The first public beta of iOS 16 was released on July 11, 2022 so the users are expecting same date for iOS 17 release.

iOS 17 will also go through several more rounds of beta seeds over the summer months, and will be officially released to the world, alongside with the launch of iPhone 15 lineup in the fall.
