Air Taxi service in Karachi

Aerial Taxi service is starting in Karachi, its first ever air project providing people with an innovative and fast air rides within the country. The project is made in collaboration with a foreogn investor.

The service of air taxi will be available for public rides in next two weeks, Jinnah International Airport in the port city has also signed an agreement under the service of air Taxi.

The Chief Operating Officer of Sky Wings Association Imran Aslam Khan said that Individuals can choose their desired time and destination through the mobile app, similar to taxi booking application.

Imran Aslam Khan further said that the fare for this service will be much lower than typical charter flights which cost Rs 2.5 million for a trip from Karachi to different cities in Sindh and Balochistan.

Specifications of Air Taxi

The taxi service has eight aircrafts with two to six seats initially, more aircraft will be launched in coming days. A DA 40 Diamond from German Aircraft has been added to the fleet which has three passenger seats other than pilot.

While speaking to media, COO Imran Aslam Khan said that, aircraft can be booked through Careem, Bykea and Uber. The private jet owners can also opt to be a part of the aerial service.

Ordinary people like tourists, lawyers, journalists, and doctors will also be able to benefit from aerial taxis. This service will not only provide fast travelling but will also boost tourism of country.
