Is Tere Bin OST a copy of Indian song ?

A controversy related to Tere Bin has been circulating on social media about the sudden removal of OST from YouTube. The drama is trending on YouTube since its start but now seems to be facing some legal issues of copyright content.

Indian music company Zee Music has filed a copy right suit against Geo Entertainment for copying the OST from their song, “Mera Intikaan Dekhegi” from “Shaadi mai Zaroor Ana”.

It is not the first time when Geo drama gained popularity in Pakistan as well as in India but it is surely for the first time that Pakistani OST is blamed for copy right issues. Earlier a lot of copyright claims are being issued to India for copying Pakistani content but it is for the first time.

Yet no official statement has been issued by Zee Music and Geo Entertainment on any of the platform. Only the OST has been removed from few episodes on YouTube. The songs removal has created a backlash on social media, users are now using #justiceforTereBin. The hashtag is trending on Twitter.

After the trending hashtag songs has been brought back on YouTube but total of 8 episodes of drama has been removed from the platform again causing a lot of controversy among users.

Indian singer Jubin Nautiyal is already famous for copying Pakistani songs and music, earlier he released ‘Bol Kafara’ copying from Pakistani song, lyrics, and music everything.

Jubin Nautiyal recently released another song “Mast Ankhein” which is exact the copy of Pakistani “Eye to Eye” by Tahir Shah. Jubin seemed really bothered to write lyrics, he just translated the Pakistani version into Hindi.
