Violence Against Peaceful Marchers
Imran Khan declared categorically on Thursday that he will enter the capital with “full preparations” this time and that the interior minister will not find a place to hide if he uses violence against peaceful marchers in apparent response to the interior minister’s warning to Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) supporters against marching towards D-Chowk.
A startling 5,000 newly elected party officers were also sworn in by Mr. Khan, who also gave them instructions to get ready for his next move.
He asserted, “On May 25, Rana Sanaullah used massive teargas shelling against PTI women and children because we intended to hold a peaceful long march on the federal capital,” promising once more to issue the final call for a nationwide protest after thoroughly preparing the party’s “tigers” for a decisive battle to free the nation from the “corrupt” rulers once and for all.
Warnings Issued
Mr. Khan recalled how his government had allowed Maulana Fazul Rehman and Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari to hold their rallies without placing any barriers in their way or filing cases against them while speaking at the oath ceremony of office-bearers of various PTI organisations at the Jinnah Convention Center.
He added that the “corrupt junta” used teargas and shelling against peaceful PTI marchers. However, he claimed that since he would be well-prepared this time, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah should now be concerned.

Historic Protests Throughout the Country
On Saturday, there would be a demonstration, he continued, “there will be historic protests all throughout the country, and I will hold a gathering in Rahim Yar Khan.”
He stated that the demonstration would serve as a litmus test for them before he made the final decision.
Mr. Khan continued by saying that no nation ever sacrifices its citizens to appease other interests, yet the Pakistani government enabled the West to impose a foreign war here and conduct 400 drone operations, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of thousands of Pakistanis.
Pakistan Bowing Down to Anyone
He continued, “I don’t want to see Pakistan bowing down to anyone or sending its citizens to die in someone else’s battle.”
Due to the “imported government’s defective and erroneous economic policies,” he said, the rupee was losing value against the US dollar at a worrying rate, the economy was contracting quickly, and inflation was breaking 50-year records.
According to him, Pakistan was experiencing its darkest period in history as a result of India’s low-cost purchases of Russian oil and the “thieves'” fear of their “masters.”
