Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari announced, on Monday, holding protests against surging inflation in the country.
He said that on October 29 his party will protest in front of local press clubs across the country.
The scion Bhutto dynasty said this while chairing a meeting of party leaders.
He said the issue in which PM Khan involves himself “is not change but destruction”.
“PM Khan has taken away the basic freedoms that were bestowed upon the masses under the Constitution,” Bilawal said.
“Imran tried to snatch it all – from freedom of speech to sanctity of the vote as well as that of the media.”
Bilawal Bhutto said that the people of Pakistan were passing through a difficult period due to inflation.
“Our politics revolves around solving the problems that the masses are facing. We do not do politics for power,” Bilawal added.
He said his party had protested against the ‘PTIMF’ since the beginning of time.

It merits a mention that Bilawal uses this term to describe the deal going on between the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the ruling PTI for the release of $6 billion.
Earlier, Bilawal had invited all estranged old guards to return to the party fold and take part in the ongoing struggle for democracy.
“I ask all those who were part of the PPP to join hands with us in our bid for democracy,” he had said.
He told a gathering of workers and supporters that he had now decided to meet party workers within their respective UCs. Earlier, he used to arrange such meetings at Naudero House and Bilawal House.
