At a big meeting in Geneva called the Human Rights Council, a group called the Union Association for Human Rights talked about how important it is to keep civilians safe during wars everywhere. They said the UAE is doing a good job by giving Aids things like water, food and healthcare to people who are in danger because of the War.

The Association praised the UAE for helping out a lot with Humanitarian Work. They show how the UAE is Teaming up with others to give more Support to People affected by Wars around the world.

Working with the Arab-European Human Rights Dialogue, the Association said it’s important to carefully look into when international laws are broken during wars. They also said it is very important to work closely with the right groups to teach military forces how to follow the rules of war and keep civilians safe.

The Association asked the United Nations to focus more on helping women and children who are getting affected by the war. They want better plans to protect them and make their lives easy. 

Established in January 2024 in the UAE, the Union Association for Human Rights is led by Dr. Fatima Khalifa Al Kaabi, President, and Maryam Al Ahmadi, Vice President, along with a team of international experts dedicated to upholding human rights.

UAE other Humanitarian Aids 

Since the start of 2021, the UAE has given a lot of help to Yemen, giving them more than 5 million. Since 2015, the UAE has given over a billion in aid to Yemen. In April 2022, the UAE promised billions to help the Central Bank of Yemen, aiming to make the economy better, improve basic services, and lessen the economic problems.

During the Ukraine crisis, the UAE sent planes with aid to Ukrainian refugees in Poland, Bulgaria and Moldova. In October 2022, they said they would give an extra 100 million to help Ukrainian civilians affected by the crisis.

From August 2022, the UAE started flying in aid worth .6 million to Pakistan because of heavy rains and floods. They sent things like shelter materials, Food and Medical supplies.

In November 2022, the UAE sent ships with food and medical supplies to Pakistan to help 500,000 families affected by flooding.Also in 2022, the UAE sent three planes with hospital supplies to help earthquake victims in Afghanistan.
