Suicide blast at Kabal police station in Swat valley martyred 15 cops and 57 more are injured. According to spokesperson Ayesha Khan of Rescue 1122 confirmed the casualties saying that three civilians are also injured.
DPO Swat Shafiullah Gandapur termed the incident as ‘Suicide Blast’ which occurred around 8:20 pm inside the police station premises. The explosion of blast also reached the Counter Terrorism Department and a mosque.

The blast caused collision in three buildings adding fire to police station. The injured cop Imdad Khan said that he was in kitchen with other officials when blast took place. He said that, “I heard two explosions with short break”.
Emergency declared in Swat
Police officials said that a lot of people are burried under the rubble while injured were being rushed to Saidu Shareef Hospital and emergency is declared in whole area.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef condemned the incident and expressed sorrow over the lives lost. He also prayed for martyrs and offered condolences to deceased families.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Shareef asked relevant authorities to sought a detailed report of incident. He also directed the authorities to provide them with medical assistance and full support.
Interior Minister Rana Sana Ullah also condemned the blast and expressed his grief over the sad incident. “We will never forget the scarifices of martyrs for the security of country and the nation”, he added.

KP caretaker Chief Minister Muhammad Azam Khan strongly condemned the blast and directed the concerned authorities to speed up the rescue operations and provide families with relief operation as soon as possible.
