Sindh Fully Digitizes Education System for Education Transparency in Pakistan
In a progressive initiative, Sindh’s Education Minister, Syed Sardar Shah, has announced the government’s intention to digitize the entire education system in the province. This project will improve transparency in the province’s education system, improve supervision, and ultimately improve the quality of education received by millions of students in Sindh.
The digitization of Sindh’s education system will apply to everything from school registrations to examinations, providing easier access to students, teachers, and administrators, and allowing online activities without paper records. By moving to a digital system, the Government aims to reduce record-keeping corruption, delays, and mistakes regarding schools and examinations.
Minister Sardar Shah explained that the digitization of education is part of Sindh’s vision to make the province’s education approach a more modern approach in line with current technology trends and an international education standard. The digital system will also support remote learning and provide access to more educational resources to rural students and worse- caser students.
Once the fully digital education system is fully implemented in Sindh, it will be a case study for other provinces in Pakistan looking for ways to digitize the education system bringing Pakistan closer to 21-century Smart Environment for education.
