School Timings Changed Due to Cold Weather

Extreme cold weather in Federal Capital Islamabad resulted in change in school timings and ease in Uniform condition for kids. The school opened this week after winter vacations. Due to extreme cold weather students were expecting for more vacations but government announced to open all educational institutes with revised timing.

According to the government notification ordered by Education ministry, the new school timings are shifted from 7:15 to 8:30. All the schools will open at 8:30 till 2:30. And the schools running double shift will open and close at the same time.

In double shift institutes, school will be open from 7 to 1:30 in morning shifts and evening shift will commence from 1:30 to 7 PM. The notification also includes the exemption of uniform.

Students are allowed to wear sweaters, jackets, caps gloves and other outfits to prevent extreme cold. The new school timing and uniform exemption will be implemented from today till end of extreme cold.

Weather forecast

The weather forecast department announced moderate rain with snowfall in Islamabad, GB, KP, Punjab, and some areas of Baluchistan and Kashmir. While dense fog is estimated in Lahore and other areas of Punjab.

The heavy rainfall with snow is expected in Murree, Kalam, Malam Jabba and northern areas of Pakistan. The forecast department requested tourists to use guidelines to prevent any kind of incident to happen.
