Remembering Noor Mukadam on Her 30th Birth Anniversary

Noor’s life was tragically cut Short and Osman marked this day by joining a Seminar Organized by Noor’s family and loved ones, aimed at Raising awareness about gender-based Violence and Femicide. Sharing a beautiful Portrait of Noor, Osman expressed, “Noor Mukadam would have turned 30 today.” Instead of celebrating her birthday with her family and friends,

Osman described how a gathering of civil society members, ambassadors, diplomats
and former members of the National Assembly came together to address the urgent issue of femicide and gender-based violence. In a follow-up tweet Osman Requested that People take a moment to Remember Noor, her family and all the Women and girls in Pakistan who have been victims of Brutal Violence. He Emphasized the importance of justice Prevailing stating that it will, God willing.

He Concluded with a Heartfelt sentiment, You may be gone, but you live on in all our hearts, Noor. The Mukadam family who run the “Justice for Noor” account also Posted a Tribute to their beloved Noor on her birthday. Their message read “Happy Birthday to our beautiful Noor. Gone from sight but never from our hearts. Last year, Osman Khalid Butt participated in a demonstration for Noor’s justice.

He shared his thoughts, highlighting Noor’s exceptional talent and, more importantly, her innate kindness and goodness. He described her as someone who was pure of heart and beautiful inside and out, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who had the Privilege of knowing her. Noor Mukadam’s life was Tragically cut short when she was found Murdered at Zahir Jaffer’s Residence in Islamabad in July 2021. Zahir was Subsequently convicted of brutally Murdering Noor and was sentenced to the death Penalty.
