Abrar ul Haq announced his parting ways from Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf while bursting into tears. But soon after he quit PTI, the singer was seen performing in a charity concert in London.
The ‘Nach Punjaban’ singer faced huge criticism for performing in concert soon after quitting Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf. In a recent interview with Waseem Badami, Abrar Ul Haq apologised from his fans for hurting their sentiments.

Abrar ul Haq explianed about the situation that event was scheduled two montha before the rise of chaotic political situation in Pakistan. He said that, event was purely for charity organization under Sahara Trust Banner and not for property scheme as rumours speculated.
Abrar ul Haq said, “It is not Aleem Khan’s housing scheme, it is a property expo which includes several big names of real estate”. The singer faced a lot of backlash for performing in an event related to Imran Khan.
He further said, “If I had not gone there, our registration for Sahara would have been cancelled in London, we could have had a case against us. I should not have gone there if my people are unhappy”.
Major Reason behind Backlash
Some of the people commented that I should not have done so. Some people also said that I should not have followed throught with my commitment. Both sides are right, because on one hand, there is a big cause, and on the other, there is not.

Abrar ul Haq is one of several PTI leaders to announce his resignation from the party in the past couple of weeks. He joins the ranks of Shireen Mazari, Fayaz ul Hassan Chohan, Maleeka Bukhari and other PTI leaders.
