Putting Pakistan’s foreign policy on a positive track: Attaullah

Pakistan’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, said that Pakistan’s foreign policy was on the right track.

Addressing the media in New York, he noted that coordination and cooperation with friendly countries had been strengthened.

Pakistan has great potential for investment, the Information Minister stressed, and he intends to convey this message to the world. The economy was moving in the right direction, he added, and inflation had been brought down to single digits.

Responding to a question, Attaullah Tarar said that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had raised the issue of Palestine in international forums. He pointed out that peace in Palestine was important for peace in the world.  Pakistan’s demand for a ceasefire in Gaza and for Israel to be held accountable for its crimes was reiterated.

He stressed that Pakistan had sent humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people.
