pti founder imran khan has challenged a nab notice
Imran Khan who is the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI and former Prime Minister of Pakistan has challenged the notice issued by the National Accountability Bureau NAB. this case is in connected with the Toshakhana case. The notice called imran khan and hid Wife Bushra bibi. NAB called them for legal questions and investigation.
This petition was filed by Salman Safdar, Usman Riaz and Khalid Yousaf. They filed petitation on behalf of Imran Khan to the Islamabad High Court IHC. They want to suspend the NAB notice. This move was taken for the security of Imran khan and his wife Bushra bibi.
Toshakhana Case
The Toshakhana case is about accusations that Imran Khan kept valuable gifts for himself instead of keeping in them in the Toshakhana while he was Pakistan’s Prime Minister. Toshakhana is a the Government’s storage for official gifts. The National Accountability Bureau NAB is reopening its investigation into this matter. They recently call Imran Khan for hearing and this is the sign that the case is moving forward.

The NAB issued call-up notices to Khan and Bushra Bibi and also sent a letter to the Deputy Superintendent of Adiala Jail, requesting their presence for questioning. This step came after a prior verdict on January 31, when an Accountability Court sentenced Khan and Bushra Bibi to 14 years of imprisonment each, along with a 10-year disqualification from holding public office. The Court also give him the fine of Rs787 million.

Imran Khan and his former Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi were sentenced to 10 years in prison in Cipher case. Theyget jaild for Official Secrets Act and in connection with the Cipher case. They were also sentenced to seven years in prison. Imran khan also get jail for another case related to marriage ushra Bibi during the Iddat time.

The Islamabad High Court suspended the 14 year jail of Imran khan and Bushra Bibi in the Toshakhana case. This move happened on 1 april. The legal process is getting serious for Imran Khan and his associates.
