The information communicated should assist law enforcement, such as crime prevention, rescue, protection of vulnerable people and emergency resolution.
The contribution aims to show that responsible behaviour of a citizen and the desire to contribute to welfare has occurred in the community.
The award is given for the quality and impact of the citizen’s action, not for the absolute number of reports submitted. One reported incident that can save lives or assist in a successful operation might be eligible for recognition.
