pcb serves legal notice to bosch for ipl psl conflict
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) gave South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch a legal notice about his contractual violations because he chose to play for Mumbai Indians in the IPL despite being under contract with Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League.
On March 8 2019 Bosch moved to the Mumbai Indians team when Lizaad Williams got hurt because Bosch entered the PSL from Peshawar Zalmi in the diamond category during their selection process in January. Both PSL and IPL tournaments will take place side by side because the leagues begin on March 22 and April 11 respectively. The Pakistan Cricket Board delivered these legal documents to his representative and asked for an explanation. PSL teams do not want other players to move freely between leagues as they discuss banning players who decide to join another league after signing with PSL. The PCB created rules to welcome better foreign players to the PSL league which allowed them to sign David Warner, Daryl Mitchell, Jason Holder, and Kane Williamson for the year ahead.
