The highly anticipated PSL 2022 anthem was leaked on social media before its official release. The internet feed is filled with videos of Aima Baig and Atif Aslam dancing to the anthem on stage.
According to PCB authorities, the much-anticipated video of the anthem was being filmed at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium. It was then that an audience member captured the video secretly. In the viral videos, a massive crowd can be seen watching the performance of Atif Aslam and Aima Baig on stage.
PCB was immediately alerted regarding the matter, and the Board decided to launch an investigation into the incident.
It is a matter of common sense that people would grab their phones to film their favourite stars if such a vast crowd is allowed while the video is being shot. Either mobile phones should not have been allowed, or unauthorised people shouldn’t have been let in.

The song has been sung by renowned singers Aima Baig and Atif Aslam and will be played during the PSL 7 matches. The cash-rich league is scheduled to start at National Stadium Karachi on January 27. For the first time, Atif Aslam will be singing the PSL anthem.
While the fans are anxiously waiting for the anthem, it has been reported that Atif Aslam and Aima Baig will sing it live at the star-studded opening ceremony of the PSL in Karachi.
Meanwhile, Lahore Qalandars’ head coach Aqib Javed said the hype attached to PSL the anthem was “unnecessary”.
Javed’s remarks came ahead of the tournament’s seventh edition, wherein he claimed that no one wanted to see singers.
