Fatima Fertilizer is the Recipient of the WLCA 2025 Award
Recently, the Pakistani-based company Fatima Fertilizer made our country proud by being awarded the Sustainability Leader Award at the WLCA Asia Pacific Awards 2025 in Hong Kong, for the company’s fantastic body of work supporting farmers and farming practices that help sustain the environment.
The WLCA recognizes companies raising the bar in sustainability, innovation, and corporate responsibility. Despite being small, Fatima Fertilizer was commended for its long-term commitment towards caring for the environment, supporting climate-smart farming, and its commitment to inclusive development.
Leading the Charge Towards Climate-smart Agriculture
Fatima Fertilizer has taken a leading role in helping Pakistani farmers produce relatively more food whilst protecting the environment. The basic principles and practices of sustainable development include efficient fertilizers that reduce waste and help improve the soil’s health.
Their climate-smart farming is not only letting farmers make more money, but they are also responsible for conserving water and reducing the greenhouse gas contribution that agriculture has on climate change.
