As the Big cricket Tournament, the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023, is about to Start in India, there’s some Good news for Pakistan’s cricket team. They’re expected to get the visas they need to travel to India for the tournament.
Before this, the team was having Trouble getting their Visas so the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) told the International Cricket Council (ICC) about it. The ICC then told the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to Speed up the Process.
Out of all the Teams Playing in the World Cup, Pakistan is the only one that hasn’t got their Visas yet. This information Comes from ESPNcricinfo.
Now, it looks like things are Moving in the Right Direction. People in the know say that the Indian embassy in Pakistan is going to receive a special certificate from India’s government today. Once they have that, they can start giving out the visas to the Pakistani cricket players.
The Pakistani cricket team will fly from Dubai to Hyderabad in India. There, they’ll have a practice match against New Zealand on September 29. Travel between Pakistan and India has been a bit tough because of disagreements between their governments.
It’s also worth noting that Pakistan and India haven’t Played against each other in a Cricket Series since 2012-13. The last time was when Pakistan visited India for One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) Games. Before that, they had a Test match in 2007.
Pakistan’s schedule for the World Cup includes matches against different teams. Their match against India is scheduled for October 14 in Ahmedabad. The matches will take Place in Various cities in India and some will start in the daytime at 10 AM Pakistan Standard Time (PST), While others will be Day-night Matches starting at 1:30 PM PST.

If Pakistan Makes it to the semi-finals they’ll play in Kolkata. If India also reaches the semi-finals, they’ll play in Mumbai, unless they’re against Pakistan, in which Case the Match will be in Kolkata.
