Pakistan Set to Visit Bangladesh for Three-Match T20I Series
Following the conclusion of the bilateral T20I series in South Africa last week, the Pakistan men’s cricket team is preparing for an exciting three-match T20I series in Bangladesh in the coming weeks. This series, confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board, will take place from July 19 to 24 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka.
Interestingly, the fixtures will not only be confirmed series but also be a part of both teams preparation for the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup, which India and Sri Lanka will jointly host. The matches are also on the Future Tours Programme (FTP), and will be classified as official international matches, meaning that ticketing is more likely, and engaged fans can expect a lot of action.
T20 Cricket Back in Bangladesh
This will be the first T20 series Pakistan plays in Bangladesh since that match in 2021, when the Men in Green swept the home team, winning 3 – 0 throughout very entertaining matches. Captain Babar Azam and the boys will be looking to da feat as they claim victory on their tour to Mirpur, where their memories will remind them of last time, while Bangladesh, as the home team, seeks revenge.
It will be an exciting series, providing an ideal format for youngsters to show the skills they have developed, national colours, while, like Pakistan, it provides both sides to develop their builds and provide depth to their squads.
