Pakistan and China have completed their joint counter-terrorism exercise, Warrior-VIII. This year’s training aimed at demonstrating the focus of the armed forces of both countries in countering security threats in the region during the three-week training conducted from November 19 to December 11, 2024.
The Commanding Officer of Rawalpindi Corps Lt General Shahid Imtiaz graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest while the Chinese ambassador in Pakistan and other dignitaries were also present. The participants were highly appreciated for their professionalism and excellent performance of the shown skills. Earlier, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir visited the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC) Pabbi and was briefed about the exercise and had interaction with the participants and appreciated their high morale and commitment.
