Pakistan is Sending Qualified Female Nurses to Malaysia
The Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) is going to send qualified females from Pakistan to Malaysia with new job options as said by one of the officials on Saturday.
This comes at a time when many nurses in Pakistan face pay and work issues. A seminar held in Karachi earlier this year pointed out that the way nurses are paid compared to being an essential part of the health system is not much at all.
The eligibility criteria to be hired for these positions in Malaysia are holding a diploma in the general nursing component with a post-basic specialist qualification. Candidates must have a minimum experience of 5 years in intensive care units (ICU) and/or cardiac care and should not exceed 45 years of age at the time of application. Nurses may be hired into roles including coronary care, medical and surgical units, ICU, pediatric and neonatal ICUs, and cardiac care areas.
A deadline is set for submitting applications: April 11, 2025.
An applicant will need to be available on the interview day to bring along important documents such as an updated resume with colored photographs, general education and nursing training certificates, academic transcripts, registration certificate, and current practicing license. In addition, applicants must carry their birth certificate, their passport if available, marriage certificate if applicable, a testimonial from a recent employer, and three recent pay slips if they have them. But a bank challan of Rs. 500 generated online during the application process is necessary.
This recruitment campaign brings one of the most sought-after opportunities for Pakistani nurses to work abroad while making way for a better future and gaining experience on an international level in the medical field.
