Maryam Nawaz, the Pakistan Muslim League (N) (PML-N) Candidate for Punjab Chief Minister has issued a Stern Warning against those who attempt to Coerce Bureaucracy into Breaking the Law. In a Statement Posted on X (formerly Twitter) she emphasised that any individuals Found instigating Civil Servants to flout Legal Obligations would face Legal Repercussions. She Highlighted the Seriousness of Such actions Stating that Threatening the Bureaucracy Undermines the Functioning of the State Machinery and Creates Chaos. Maryam Nawaz urged Government officials not to Succumb to intimidation Tactics and to Carry out their Duties in accordance with the Law.
This Declaration comes following the announcement by PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzaib on February 13 wherein Nawaz Sharif Nominated Shahbaz Sharif for the Position of Prime Minister and Maryam Nawaz for the Role of Punjab Chief minister.
