Sindh Minister for Culture and Tourism Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah has again reminded the country of the country’s top entertainment personalities getting national recognition by saying that Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa have been recommended twice for the prestigious Sitara-i-Imtiaz.

The Sindh Culture Department had nominated Mahira Khan and Fahad Mustafa twice for Sitara-i-Imtiaz, said Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah on Saturday at the inauguration of the eight-day Wes-Dhaari Sindhi Theatre Festival 2026 here.
The minister said that the two recommendations were made independently and were supported by a committee of prominent personalities. However, the two actors were not on the final list of recipients announced at the federal level, despite repeated nominations.
