
Lady Gaga makes another historic achievement with “Mayhem” achieving the top album position, thanks to strong streaming activity and CD sales numbers. The dance album performed well in its first week when it sold 219,000 units with a strong 136,000 from standard albums.
The 14 distinct physical albums she delivered in vinyl CD and cassette helped Lady Gaga achieve her highest-ever 74,000 vinyl sales. During the Grammy commercial break in February “Abracadabra” made its debut as the single that performed best for the album. Beyond these two songs, Bruno Mars joined Gaga on her track “Die With A Smile” as she released multiple album editions on vinyl CD and cassette.
Jennie becomes the first Blackpink member to chart a solo hit as “Ruby” enters position number 7. The pop and R&B album generated 56,000 total sales and streams which reached 39 million and 26,500 units. Blackpink serves as the third member of their group to hit top 10 albums thanks to “Ruby” featuring musical artists Dua Lipa, Childish Gambino, and others.To conclude the top song rankings this week are Kendrick Lamar’s “GNX” at position 2 and the PartyNextDoor & Drake collaboration at number 3 followed by SZA along with Tate McRae, Sabrina Carpenter, Bad Bunny, and the newest major success Chappell Roan.
