The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to introduce free WiFi services in Peshawar’s public parks. This decision was made during a Meeting by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. At the meeting, CM Gandapur instructed officials to finalize plans for offering free WiFi in public parks and seek approval from the provincial government. This service will benefit people in Peshawar and also it will be expanded to other cities in the future.
Additionally, the government plans to improve transportation by introducing a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service on Nasir Bagh Road. To make the city more environmentally friendly, CM Gandapur proposed converting streetlights to solar power and prioritizing the construction of underpasses instead of overhead bridges.
immediate action has been ordered for the completion of the remaining portion of Warsak-Nasir Bagh Road and repairing roads along the BRT Corridor at University Road.
