The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have finally reached an agreement regarding the venue of upcoming World Cup that is going to held in India.
Pakistan has agreed to play against the arch-rivals at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad, India. Intially, there were some concerns from Pakistan Cricket Board about the security reasons.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) agrees to play in Ahmedabad after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) accepted the hybrid model for the Asia Cup.
Hybrid Model Phases
According the hybrid model proposed by PCB, the first four matches of Asia Cup will be played in Lahore, Pakistan. The remaining matches, including Pakistan and India matches will be played in Sri Lanka.
Pakistan Cricket Board threatened to boycott Asia Cup and ODI World Cup in India, if hybrid model is not accepted. Officials from ICC also visited Lahore and attended meetings with PCB to discuss about the matter.
Now after a lot of discussions, PCB and BCCI agreed on one decision that, India will not put questionon Pakistan’s hybrid model and Pakistan will ensure it’s visit to India for playing upcoming World Cup.
