On Friday Pakistan achieved a 9-wicket victory against New Zealand at Edwin Park in their T20I series match. Hasan Nawaz became the first Pakistani player to hit a T20I century in the top order while also helping his side reach 205 runs in 24 overs.

He batted 44 balls to reach 100 runs, which beat Babar Azam’s former Pakistani record by 5 deliveries.
