Hamza Khan, Pakistan’s next-generation squash superstar, made headlines again after winning the Men’s Golden Open title, following a splendid outing in Kalgoorlie, Australia.

The Golden Open is a relished PSA Challenger Tour event valued at $6,000 taking place in the 2025 edition of the tournament. Khan came into the tournament in brilliant form. A fellow Hong Kong player, Ka Hei Ho, was next on the card for Khan in the final, which he won comfortably in straight games: 3-0.
Khan’s journey began confidently with a 3-0 win over Hong Kong’s Lap Man Au. He preserved his cadence in the quarter-finals handing Australia’s wildcard Oscar Curtis a single game, winning 11-8, 10-12, 11-4, 11-2. With semi-final enemy, Ming Hong Tang, also from Hong Kong, Khan merely annihilated the court winning 11-5, 11-7, 11-4, pushing his dramatic story to qualify without much fuss.
Dominant Final The final match against Ka Hei Ho was an absolute rout from the start. Hamza played methodically and with surety. There was never a moment of contest. His straight-game win marked the victory and championship, on his path to accomplishing his ultimate career goal.
