Method 1: Check Fard via Punjab Land Records (PLRA) Website
In Punjab, the official Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) portal provides access to digital land records. To check your Fard:
- Visit the official PLRA Jamabandi portal
- Click on the “Jamabandi” tab in the left-hand menu
- Select your District, Tehsil, and Village
- Search using Owner Name, Khewat number, Khasra number, or Khatauni number
- Enter the captcha code and click “View Report”
The system will display land ownership details, property classification, and related record information based on the selected entry.
Method 2: Apply for E-Fard in Punjab
Punjab also allows users to request a digitally signed Fard document online. To apply:
- Go to the Punjab Jamabandi online Fard request service
- Select District, Tehsil, and Village
- Enter property identifiers such as Khasra or Khewat number
- Select the Jamabandi year
- Submit the request and pay the required fee
It is important to note that this service is generally available during working hours, typically from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on working days. Once processed, users can download a legally valid E-Fard document.
Method 3: Check Land Records in Sindh via Sindh Zameen Portal
In Sindh, land records can be accessed through the official Board of Revenue Sindh portal, commonly referred to as Sindh Zameen.
To search records:
- Visit the official Sindh Zameen or Board of Revenue portal
- Open the “Services” section and select “Search Registries Online”
- Enter property details such as District, Deh, and Registry Type
- Search using CNIC or property reference numbers
The system will show ownership history, registry status, and transaction details if the record is available in the database.
Method 4: Use Mobile Apps and Local Service Centers
For users who prefer mobile access, Punjab also offers dedicated applications such as the PLRA Fard app. These apps allow users to check ownership details, verify land records, and track mutation (Intiqal) updates directly from their smartphones.
In Sindh, users who face issues with incomplete or outdated records can visit the nearest People’s Service Center. These centers help update records using CNIC verification and biometric authentication.
