Former Pak PM and PTI chief Imran Khan claimed that ex Pak Spy Chief, Faiz Hameed who was detained by the Military in connection with a housing scheme scam, and may be facing court martial, was being forced to turn into an approver against him to pave the way for the ex PM’s trial in a military court in relation to the May 9 cases.

In a separate development the Islamabad high court (IHC) has restrained an accountability court from announcing the judgement in the 190 million pounds corruption case in which Imran Khan and his wife has been reportedly involved regarding the Al Qadir Trust.

The PTI Chief spoke to media personnels in the Adiala Jail as he was sent on judicial remand in a new Toshakhana, saying that there was no substance against him in the civil courts. He also claimed that the ex ISI Chief was allegedly arrested in order to make the conspiracy foolproof. He claimed that Gen Faiz was being forced to become an approver against him and hinted that the ex-spymaster may be asked to turn against him on the May 9 incidents.

Khan went on to say that even if Gen Faiz testified against him there is evidence in the CCTV footage that would say otherwise. He had repeatedly asked the courts to probe into the matter but hadn’t succeeded in making it move.

Imran Khan stated that the incumbent regime is scared that its theft of the public mandate would be exposed after the retirement of Chief Justice of Pak Qazi Faez Isa.

Imran Khan reiterated his allegations against former army chief Qamar Javed Bajwa, accusing him that he betrayed Khan. He added that Gen Faiz was transferred from the ISI under an alleged deal between the then army chief and PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif.
