Mohammed Alabbar, the founder of Emaar and Noon, recently shared exciting news about the construction of a unique structure in Dubai, what he called the “female” Burj Khalifa, named the Dubai Creek Tower. This new building will be located in Dubai Creek Harbour which is a part of the broader Dubai Creek Harbour project.

During a speech at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival (SEF) 2024, Alabbar revealed some exciting details about the upcoming project. The most noteworthy feature is that customers will have the opportunity to drive electric cars through the future mall associated with the tower. Alabbar expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “This will be the first time cars can enter a mall, so it will be very unique. We did not come up with this ourselves; we learned it from somewhere.”

Alabbar also shared more discussion into the decision-making process behind the project. He candidly discussed the company’s decision to abandon plans for a kilometer-long tower, acknowledging the mistake.

The plan changed to make a special building, kind of like the famous Burj Khalifa.

They’re calling the Creek skyscraper the “female” Burj Khalifa, and it’s going to have a unique design revealed soon. This project is a part of the Dubai Creek Harbour project. It will cover a huge area and its aim will be the “new downtown” and a big part of Dubai’s skyline.
