Cristiano Ronaldo creates history by becoming the most followed person worldwide on social media with 1 billion followers

Football icon Cristiano Ronaldo has broken yet another record with being the most followed internet social media personality in the world. He has achieved one billion followers across social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

On X Ronaldo posted with enthusiasm, “We have made history, 1 billion followers, this is more than just a number, it’s a testament to our shared passion, drive and love for the game and beyond.”

The Al-Nassr star forward and winger went to say, “From Madeira’s streets to the world’s grandest stages, I have always played for my family and you. Now, one billion of us stand together. You have been with me through every triumph and challenge. This journey is ours proving that there are no boundaries to what we can accomplish.”

Ronaldo’s social media following includes 600 million followers in Instagram, 100 million in X (formerly Twitter) and 60 million subscribers in digital streaming platform YouTube. He concluded by saying, “Thank you for your belief and support, and being part of my journey. The best is yet to come, and we will continue to push, win and make history together.”
