COVID-19 positivity ratio goes past 10% in Karachi, Hyderabad

Covid-19 Positive Rate Has Crossed 10%

The COVID-19 positive rate has crossed 10% in Karachi and Hyderabad. The national caseload continued to climb on a regular basis on Monday. 

NIH Announced 171 Additional Cases

On June 20th, the National Institute of Health (NIH) announced 171 additional cases, with 11,212 tests done, increasing the positivity rate to 1.53%. 

There were no infection-related deaths reported in the previous 24 hours, despite the fact that 57 patients were in critical condition.

Hyderabad Had The Highest Percentage

Hyderabad had the highest percentage of 16.67%, followed by Karachi with 10.08 percent and Mirpur in Azad Kashmir with 5.26 percent, according to the report. 

3.39 percent of persons in Mardan, 2.27 percent in Islamabad, 1.2 percent in Abbottabad, and 1% in Lahore tested positive for the Coronavirus. 

Pakistan has reported 1,532,153 coronavirus illnesses since the outbreak began in March 2020, with 3,369 active cases currently in the country. 

A total of 30,383 people have died as a result of the deadly disease, with 1,498,401 surviving. In the country, a total of 124,721,404 people have been fully immunised.
